Dec. 13, 2012Barnes Communications assisted Kruger Products L.P. (KPLP) with its successful initial public offering roadshow of KP Tissue Inc. in October and November 2012. The $140 million deal, lead-managed by Scotia Capital Inc., spun off a minority KPLP interest via KP Tissue with a marketing effort that saw presentations to institutional investors and retail stockbrokers across North America. Barnes Communications designed KP Tissue’s new logo, prepared its multimedia investor presentation, created prospectus graphics, executed all logistics and designed the Mississauga-based company’s new website.
Oct. 15, 2012Barnes Communications assisted African miner Ivanplats Ltd in preparation of its $300 million IPO global roadshow presentation with stops in North America and Europe. Barnes worked closely with management to enhance the production value of the show and deliver speaker training for company executives.
For Ken Barnes it was a chance to revisit with CEO Lar-Eric Johansson, a former client. This is the third IPO that Barnes has provided roadshow assistance for, working with Robert Friedland, Chairman of Ivanplats and his staff.
